A Lack of Health Insurance Is Not a Health Care Crisis
Most of the misinformation about the health-care crisis is that people are dying every day because they do not have health-care coverage. This is the most outlandish statement any politician has made and it continues to grow because so many people either believe everything the politicians say or what they hear on the liberal television news shows.
People are not dying because they don’t have insurance. They die because they are ill - insurance has nothing to do with their illness. If we don’t take care of ourselves, we get sick.
Yes, there are people who get sick no matter how well they take care of themselves, and, yes, some of these people don’t have health insurance. I assure you, they can walk into any hospital in the U.S. and get care. In addition to that most doctors have ‘needy’ families as patients - it’s called compassion.
There is a government program called Medicaid that also takes care of those that can’t afford insurance and then, of course, there are CHPs that take care of children up to the age of 25. (I don’t consider that a child, but the Democrats do.) If you can’t afford insurance go on Medicaid, you will get the same level of health care that will eventually be offered if the Democrats get their way and force us into national health care.
Insurance is not a constitutional right, and forcing people to buy insurance or pay a fine is not constitutional.
Yes, I have health insurance. No I could not afford the high premiums. So I shopped for a better plan and found a health savings account was the answer to high insurance premiums.
One more thing we hear out of Washington, if you don’t have insurance and you get sick, no one pays the bill. I know a lot of people who pay their bills over time.
